Soria Moria til Verdens Ende

We are inviting to a ultra-trail race event in the weekend 27-28 May 2017.


100-miles+, 165 km, total elevation +3700m/-4000m



Soria Moria, Voksenkollen in Oslo,

Saturday 27 May, 10:00.


Verdens Ende, Tjøme in Vestfold,

latest finishing Sunday 28 May, 22:00.


50-miles+, 85 km, total elevation +1500m/-1600m



Hanekleiva, Sande in Vestfold,

Saturday 27 May, 21:00.



Verdens Ende, Tjøme in Vestfold,

latest finishing Sunday 28 May, 22:00.


Dominant terrain

Approximately 2/3 is on soft ground: footpath, dirt road, gravel road.


Maps and GPS-track

The routes are not marked physically in the terrain. The participants are responsible for navigating according to the given information: maps and GPS track. It willl be possible to download map data and GPS tracks in due time before the race.


Service points

We are establishing the following service points:


  • Hanekleiva in Sande
  • Hengsrød in Re
  • Tønsberg

At these points you will be offered a simple selection of food and drink.



We are transporting 1 piece of luggage for each participant, from start to finish. The 100 miles-runners may deliver a drop bag at Soria Moria which will be accessible to them at the service point in Hanekleiva.



The race is based on the principle of self-support, which means that each participant in general must carry all food, drink, and equipment needed along the route. However, it is allowed for the participant, in person, to buy food and drink from food stores, gas stations, etc., located along the route.

To receive support from others than the organizer is only allowed at the service points Hanekleiva, Hengsrød, and Tønsberg.


Safety and behaviour

Each participant is responsible for his/her own safety. It is mandatory to help an other participant who is in an emergency situation. We are not leaving any kind of litter along the route.

The 3 best women and 3 best men on both distances will be rewarded. All participants completing within the given time limit will receive a medal as a memory of the event.



The enrolment is open from 1 November 2016 to 30 April 2017. The number of participants is limited. The enrolment fee must have been paid for the enrolment to be valid. When enrolling you need to confirm that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions for the race.

50 miles: Maximum 100 participants


Enrolment fee

When enrolled before 1 March 2017:

  • 100-miles 750 NOK
  • 50-miles 500 NOK


When enrolled after 1 March 2017:

  • 100-miles 1000 NOK
  • 50-miles 750 NOK
